It Was Supposed to Be a Chill Break

You know those moments when you just want something simple to unwind? No pressure, no overthinking—just a quick mental break before getting back to real life.

That’s exactly what I thought I was getting.

I opened a Sudoku app, picked a medium-level grid, and told myself, “Let’s relax for a bit.”

Five minutes in, I was leaning forward, eyebrows furrowed, fully invested like this was some kind of high-stakes competition.

So much for relaxing.

At first, everything went smoothly. A few obvious numbers, some easy placements—it felt manageable.
