AXP Chat Widget bugs

I've noticed a couple of bugs in the chat widget provided with the SDK:

  1. If you set the show-pre-chat attribute to false the default chat workflow appears, instead of the required Main Chat Flow. I’ve got this down to the engagement parameters not being passed through when you don’t show the pre-chat, but haven’t delved into the code yet to figure out why!
  2. With the show-pre-chat attribute set to false, if you start a chat then end it and immediately start another one the pre-chat window is displayed. I haven’t got to the bottom of this one yet, but will investigate

I know this widget is intended as a reference implementation rather than as production-ready code, but I have two problems with this: most of our customers need a quick turnaround so an out-of-the-box chat widget is required; and, if this really is a reference implementation then why have Avaya over-engineered it to a point where it's really difficult to figure out what's going on in the code? It currently fails for both purposes!
