Lately I’ve been thinking a lot about how to organize things during a move because I’m helping my cousin relocate to another city. We were sorting boxes yesterday and realized that not everything should probably go into the moving truck. A few years ago when I moved myself, I made the mistake of packing fragile kitchen items together with regular stuff and a couple of glasses didn’t survive the trip. Since then I’ve been trying to learn more about how to pack fragile items, especially when it comes to protecting breakables during transportation. It made me wonder what people usually prefer to move on their own instead of leaving everything to movers. Maybe things like electronics, documents, or sentimental items? I’m curious what others usually keep in their personal car when relocating.
