Lately I’ve been trying to figure out whether it’s smarter to move on a weekend or take a weekday off. My last move was on a Saturday, and everything felt rushed and more expensive than I expected. This time I’m doing more research on allmovers.org and even reading about how to pack fragile items, especially when it comes to protecting breakables, because I really don’t want surprise costs from damaged stuff. Still, I keep seeing that weekday rates might be lower since demand drops. But then again, missing work also has a price. For those who’ve tried both options, did weekdays actually turn out cheaper in the end?
