Setting up a home PC for parents

My parents got a small computer for video calls and checking the news, and I put Windows 11 on it. But there's this gray activation message in the corner that's really bugging my mom, and she thinks the computer's broken. In addition, I can't set up large icons and a convenient panel color because personalization is blocked. Buying a full key for a PC that is turned on twice a week is too expensive. Does anyone know a reliable way to remove these restrictions once and for all?
