How to send custom data with chat message to AXP?

Hi,

I'm able to use the AXP API's to setup session & engagement + send chat messages to AXP chat connector. The messages are received in the Workspaces client.

How can I send additional info (eg Cognigy sessionId) in the chat message? I was thinking of using the 'customerData' object but whatever I try, that field is always empty in Workspaces widget.

Any thoughts?
