Avaya Infinity RCMS - Availability and setup of the Recording service

Hello,

I am considering developing a recording server that receives call audio from Avaya Infinity via RCMS (Real-time Contextual Media Streaming).

The Real-time Contextual Media Streaming page on the Avaya developer portal (developers.avayacloud.com) lists Recording under "Coming Soon", and Virtual Agent is the only service described as available today. On the other hand, the RCMS Protocol Specification already defines the Recording messages (recording.start, recording.end, etc.).

  1. Is the Recording service available in Avaya Infinity now?
  2. If not, when is it planned to be available?
  3. Before it becomes available, is there any way to try the Recording service (for example, early access or a trial tenant)?
  4. Until the Recording service is available, is there any recommended way to stream call audio to an external recording server (for example, by using another RCMS service)?

If the Recording service is available (or once it becomes available):

  1. How can we select which calls are recorded (for example, by workflow, queue, or agent)?
  2. What needs to be configured in Avaya Infinity to stream the recording audio to an external WSS server?

Any information would be appreciated.
Thank you.
